Captured video has color distortion problem

1Check the color format of the signal source Check the color format of the video output from your signal source according to the user manual of the signal source. 2Set the supported color formats of the capture device For USB Capture (Plus) Family, download the utility software USB Capture Utility V3, and then refer to this article to add the color format of the signal source to your capture device. For Pro Capture and Eco Capture Family, refer to this article to add the color format of the signal source to your capture device. 3Select the appropriate color format in the video capture software In your video capture software, select the newly added color space and save the settings. Then check whether the color of the video is displayed normally.

Captured video is blurrier than the original video

Follow these steps to troubleshoot problems. 1If the Resolution, Color format and Quantization of the captured signal is consistent with those of the input signal? USB Capture (Plus) Family Open the utility software USB Capture Utility V3. In the Info tab page, view the Video signal format, which consists of the resolution and frame rate of the input signal. In the Video tab page, view the Color format and Quantization in the INPUT section. In the Video tab page, set the Color format and Quantization in the CAPTURE section to the value of the same properties in the INPUT section. In your video capture software, set the Resolution, Color format (if available) and Quantization (if available) of the captured signal to the value of the same properties of the input signal. Pro Capture, Eco Capture Family Call the driver panel of capture card. In the Video tab page, view the Input signal format, Color format, and Quantization in the Input section. The input signal format is displayed next to the Input label, and includes the resolution and frame rate of the input signal. In the Video tab page, set the Color format and Quantization in the Capture section to the value of the same properties in the Input section. In your video capture software, set the Resolution, Color format (if available) and Quantization (if available) of the captured signal to the value of the same properties of the input signal. 2If the captured image is scaled in the video capture software? If video capture software allows users to set the scaling, make sure the scale factor is 100%. 3If the input signal is interlaced signal? USB Capture (Plus) Family Open the utility software USB Capture Utility V3. In the Info tab page, view the Video signal format. If the video signal format contains "p", the input signal is a progressive scan signal; if it contains "i", the input signal is a interlaced scan signal. For interlaced scan signal, open the Video tab page, and then set Deinterlace to Weave, i.e. no deinterlacing. Pro Capture, Eco Capture Family Call the driver panel of capture card. In the Video tab page, view the input signal format next to the Input label. If the video signal format contains "p", the input signal is a progressive scan signal; if it contains "i", the input signal is a interlaced scan signal. For interlaced scan signal, open the Video tab page, and then set Deinterlace in the Capture section to Weave, i.e. no deinterlacing.

On GIGABYTE motherboard, the captured video is displayed as green screen

Can't install Pro Capture driver on Dell XPS 8930

How to set Quad Link 3G SDI signal mode of Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus

It supports diver 4168 and later. Run "regedit" on Windows to open the Registry Editor. Move to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ProCapture\Pro Capture Card Name\Board X, Channel X. Create a new DWORD key named “QuadSDIConvMode”. The optional value are: 0 - auto detect, 1 - fix to 2SI mode, 2 -fix to SQD mode. Reboot the PC to make the change take effect.

Pro Capture card inputs not detected with macOS 14 (Sonoma): Workaround

An incompatibility between our Pro Capture PCIe capture cards and the recently released macOS 14 (Sonoma) causes the cards’ inputs to not be recognized by software applications, even if the card itself is detected by the operating system.  For Pro Capture Mac ARM, a new driver has been released to support macOS 14.x. Please click to download. For Pro Capture Mac x86, our engineering team is working hard on a new version of the driver to resolve this issue, and we thank you for your patience.   In the meantime, as a temporary solution, one possibility is to roll your system back to macOS 13.6 or earlier. Please note that rolling back your system is not recommended by Apple, so doing so would be at your own risk.  If you still wish to attempt a rollback, these instructions from Apple explain how to create a bootable installer for re-installing macOS. Please DO NOT select macOS Sonoma for creation of the installer.
