"No protocol specified" error occurs when I run USB Capture Utility on Ubuntu 17.10

In the terminal of Ubuntu 17.10, the following error messages are listed after running
sudo usbcaptureutility:
No protocol specified
QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display :0
Aborted
You need to switch to Ubuntu on Xorg to solve the "No protocol specified" error.
