Use Magewell capture device in Skype

Pro Capture Family 1Modify the registry of the capture device Refer to the relevant topic: Captured video is narrowed and can't be sent to the other side when I use Pro Capture card in Skype/Skype for Business/Microsoft Teams 2Add video input devices in Skype On the Call menu, point to Video, and then click Video Settings to open the Video Settings tab page of the Skype - Options dialog box. Add Magewell capture device in Edius

In the main Edius window, click System Settings on the Settings menu. In the System Settings dialog box, point to Hardware, and then click New. In the Preset Wizard dialog box, enter the Name and click Next. Click the Interface menu, and then select DirectShow Capture. Then you will find Magewell capture devices on the Stream menu.

1Create a scene collection On the SceneCollection menu, click New, and then enter the name of the scene collection. 2Add video and audio input devices Under Sources, click the plus sign, and then click Video Capture Device. 1Add video and audio input devices In the main vMix window, click Add Input to open the Input Select dialog box. Click the Camera tab, and then set the properties of the capture device as follows: Camera: select the Magewell capture device on the drop-down menu. 1Add video input devices Click Add source at the bottom right of the main window, point to Devices (webcam, capture cards...), point to Video, and then select the Magewell capture device. 2Set the resolution and frame rate Click the text to the right of the menu bar to call out the Stage Options menu. Point to Resolution, and then click the resolution that you want. Point to Frame Rate, and then click the frame rate that you want. 3Add audio input devices Select the Magewell capture device in the source list, and then click Settings. In the Cam tab page, select the audio input device linked with video in the Audio Input drop-down menu. OSD Effect Ⅰ: overlay static image on captured video

1Make a bitmap image The bitmap image should be a PNG image in RGBA format. That is, the image should be transparent where you need the captured video to be visible. We recommend that you set the size of bitmap image according to the capture resolution, thus the bitmap image won't be stretched when overlaid on the video. 2Enable OSD Call the driver panel of capture card. In the OSD tab page, enter the path of the bitmap image in OSD file path. Select the Enable OSD check box and click Save preset. Call the driver panel of capture devices

OBS Studio Under Sources, right-click Video Capture Device and then select Properties from the context menu. In the Properties for 'Video Capture Device' dialog box, click Configure Video to open the driver panel of capture device. vMix On the Input Bar, click the cog icon in the bottom right corner of the Magewell capture device to open the Input:(Magewell Capture Device) dialog box. In the Advanced tab page, select the Magewell capture device under Filters, and then click Properties to open the driver panel of the capture device. If you cannot find the Magewell capture device under Filters, check whether you have correctly added the device: namely, when adding the capture device as an input source on the Camera tab page, you need to select "Show legacy devices" at the bottom, and select the Magewell capture device starting with Video, for example, Video (00-0 Pro Capture Quad SDI). Wirecast Select the Magewell capture device in the layer and then the System Device Properties panel appears on the left side of the preview window. In the System Device Properties panel, click Configure to open the driver panel of capture device. For Wirecast 9.0.1 and above, it is not yet supported to call the drive panel of capture device. XSplit Broadcaster Select the Magewell capture device in the source list, and then click Settings. In the Cam tab page, click Configure, and then click Video Input to open the driver panel of capture device.
