Pro Convert Xmit AIO 4K is the first of a new series that features bi-directional conversion for bridging AV signals and IP streams with software, screens and AV systems. As an encoder, Pro Convert Xmit AIO 4K encodes one source up to 4K at 60 FPS from either the unit’s HDMI or 12G-SDI input with HDR support (HDR10 or HLG). In decoding mode, Pro Convert Xmit AIO 4K decodes and outputs one 4Kp60 IP stream or four HD IP streams in a quad layout using an integrated multi-viewer, with output via both HDMI and 12G-SDI with HDR.

Building upon the rich input flexibility and extensive feature set of earlier Director models, Director Plus adds more HDMI inputs and outputs; 4K encoding at 60FPS for recording and streaming; and enhanced network connectivity including an integrated 5G modem and 2.5Gbps Ethernet. Director Plus’ exceptional AV and IP input flexibility includes four HDMI inputs; two USB inputs; HTML web pages; file-based media assets; mobile cameras via the free Director Utility app; and up to ten live IP sources. For output, Director Plus offers two HDMI and one USB-C output, as well as NDI HX3 and streaming formats.

Magewell adds support for NDI 6.3 and the Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST) protocol in its latest firmware update for Ultra Encode HDMI Plus, Ultra Encode SDI Plus and Ultra Encode AIO. The update to NDI 6.3 makes the encoders discoverable within NDI Tools for easy monitoring and control. Meanwhile, the integration of RIST enables reliable MPEG-TS transport over UDP and seamless compatibility with existing MPEG-TS workflows.

The latest version of the Control Hub centralized management software features an enhanced user interface to easily accommodate large deployments with multiple Modator rackmount frames. The Modator platform brings the reliability and extensive functionality of Magewell’s standalone encoding and decoding devices to a scalable, high-density form factor, with each Modator 2U chassis hosting up to 10 hot-swappable modules.
