MPEG-TS over UDP

Click the Sources tab to configure.

Paste an MPEG-TS over UDP source URL directly. The device automatically parses and adds the source. Parameters can also be configured manually.

  • Protocol Type: Set to MPEG-TS over UDP.
  • Name: Specify a task name to facilitate management of multiple presets.
  • Type: Set to Unicast or Multicast. For Unicast, the source pushes streams to the decoder, and you need to set the decoder as the streaming destination. For Multicast, you need to specify the multicast address for decoding.
  • Address: Enter the multicast address. Only available when Type is set to Multicast.
  • Port: Enter the UDP port number. The range is 1–65535.
  • Buffer Duration: Range 1–5000 ms, default 60 ms. To ensure smooth video output, it is recommended that the buffer time is longer than the Jitter time displayed in Dashboard. You can reduce the buffer time when the task has high low-latency requirements. Use the default value if there are no special requirements.
It is recommended to set the buffer time greater than the Jitter value shown in Dashboard. For tasks requiring high low-latency performance, reduce the buffer time. Use the default value if no special requirements apply.
  • Hotkey No hotkey by default. When configured, a connected keyboard can be used for quick source switching. This function is disabled when Profile is enabled.
  • Audio Track: Default 1, optional 1–8 tracks.
