You can directly paste the URL, and the device will automatically parse and add the source. You can also manually specify each parameter. Parameters can also be configured manually.
- Protocol Type: Set to MPEG-TS over RIST.
- Name: Specify a task name to facilitate management of multiple presets.
- Mode: Set the mode to Caller or Listener. The decoder can act as an RIST Caller to pull the stream from a remote RIST Listener; alternatively, it can function as an RIST Listener to receive the data stream.
- Profile In Caller mode, Main profile is supported. In Listener mode, both Main profile and Simple profile are supported.
- Address: Only required in Caller mode. If the RIST Listener and RIST Caller are on the same local area network (LAN), enter the private IP address of the RIST Listener on the LAN. If the RIST Listener and the RIST Caller are in different network environments, enter the public IP address of the RIST Listener.
- Port: Enter the RIST port number.
- Stream ID: Specify the Stream ID; the value range is 0 to 512 characters. It must be identical to the Stream ID of the transmitter.
- Latency: Range 20~5000 ms, default 120 ms.
-
Buffer Duration: Range 1–5000 ms, default 60 ms. To ensure smooth video output, it is recommended that the buffer time is longer than the Jitter time displayed in Dashboard. You can reduce the buffer time when the task has high low-latency requirements. Use the default value if there are no special requirements.
It is recommended to set the buffer time greater than the Jitter value shown in Dashboard. For tasks requiring high low-latency performance, reduce the buffer time. Use the default value if no special requirements apply. - Encryption: Select the encryption algorithm used by the encoder.
- Password: Enter the encryption password if Encryption is used by the encoder.
- Hotkey No hotkey by default. When configured, a connected keyboard can be used for quick source switching. This function is disabled when Profile is enabled.
- Audio Track: Default 1, optional 1–8 tracks.
- TS ProgID: Program ID (Program Number) is an identifier that represents a logical program (service) within an MPEG Transport Stream.
- OK: Save the current settings.
