Manage Task Scheduler

Allows administrators to set a future time point for the system to automatically execute tasks on specified hardware devices. This is useful for performing unified upgrades during off-peak hours.

Note: Only administrator users can perform this operation.

Manage the task scheduler
  1. In the left sidebar, click "Settings > Task Scheduler"
  2. View scheduled tasks:
    • To-do: View tasks that are waiting to be triggered or currently running
    • History: View historical records of completed, successful, or failed tasks for auditing purposes
    • Batch operations: After selecting multiple tasks, you can click the buttons below to perform batch "Enable", "Disable", or "Delete" operations
    • Trigger options: Intuitively displays the scheduled trigger time of the task
    • Type: Currently supports "Firmware Upgrade"
    • Status: Indicates the current running status of the task, such as "Running", "Completed", "Failed", etc
    • Action: Edit or delete the current task by clicking the corresponding "Edit" or "Delete" button
    • Description: Record background information about the task
    • Quick search: Use the search box in the upper right corner to quickly locate specific tasks by name
  3. Enable: Enables the checked task, allowing it to be triggered at the scheduled time
  4. Disable: Disables the checked task, preventing it from being triggered
  5. Delete: Permanently deletes the checked task from the system
    Add or modify scheduled tasks
  1. In the left sidebar, click "Settings > Task Scheduler"
  2. Click "+ Add" to create a new task, or "Edit" an existing scheduled task, and specify the following parameters in the pop-up window

    • Name: Supports 1-128 characters for easy identification in the list
    • Polling Type: Currently supports "Once", meaning the task is triggered only once
    • Start time: Specify the date and exact time when the task should be executed
    • Expired Behavior: Defines the processing logic when a task is not enabled at the scheduled time and is enabled afterwards:
      • Not execute: The task will not be executed if the time has passed
      • Execute immediately: The task is not cancelled, it will be executed immediately
    • Type: Currently supports "Firmware Upgrade"
    • Target firmware: Select from the firmware versions uploaded to Control Hub
    • Target device: Select the terminal hardware that needs to participate in this scheduled task from the device list
    • Description: Record background information about the task
